FDMI hostname with current HP HBA drivers
I notice that the current version of the HP/Qlogic drivers (9.1.3.16) together with the latest firmware (1.45) no longer returns the hostname via FDMI to a connected switch. Other config detail is returned as expected, but not the hostname.
I have the correct registry entry defined i.e. addinf regfdmi=1 to the Driver Parameters at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SYSTEM>CurrentControlSet>Services>Ql2300>Parameters>Device
I'm not certain at which driver release this changed, although I know that it certainly did work with previous releases.
Does anyone have any more information about this one?
