Help plan to build new Command View Management server

I have a 9.1 version of Command View that I will be replacing with 9.3 installed on a seperate server.  I can't seem to find any documentation or guidance on this process.  It appears that I should have no problem but I'm still concerned I'm missing something.  Please take a look at my tentative plan and let me know if I'm headed for trouble.  Thanks!

Build new server (Rack, Cable, Install OS)

Install the latest version of Command View

Shutdown the legacy Command View server

Sync up the new CV server to the EVA

Note that I have no data migration steps... should I be concerned about any data?

Is there a definitive guide to this specific process?

Any tips for me?

Thanks!

Re: Help plan to build new Command View Management server

Hi, CV 9.4 is the latest.

If you want to be extra careful you should only have one version of CV accessing the EVA at the same time.
So you could shut down the current CV server before you install Command View on the new one.

In CV there is a button called 'export licenses'.

What kind of EVA do you have? If you have an EVA4400 - don't forget to upgrade the management module CV and WOCP firmware.

Re: Help plan to build new Command View Management server

Thank you very much... I have just one follow-up question...

I found that there is a SQL Express edition installed on the server with a database named WEBESDB... what should I do with this?
