How Vdisk snapshot : backup and restore

How to take a snapshot of a virtual disk using HP6000 Command View v10.01.00. for EVA6400/4400
I want to use this for backup purpose and then try restoring also.
If anybody has done it, please suggest.

- Automatic by using the EVA VSS/VDS Provider with Backup

- Scripting with SSSU

- Scripting with RSM

If you do not provide us with some basic Information like: The Name of the Backup Programm, the OS Type and Version, how toRestore, ...

I think nobody can help you further, because it is very different to Capture Snapshots on Windows or UNIX for example.

I have a Oracle DB11g and want to take snapshot Backup using HP sata protector7 and try restore.

DO I need to use ZDB ? shud DB be in backup mode when I take the snapshot?
