Re: How connect ProLiant BL460c to MSA2000fc?
and find out whether you can see your MSA wwpn from there.
i believe this is low level connectivity test that we should perform before go further.
for ACU (i assume u know how to use ACU
pls see ACU manual for diagrams/pictures etc)
if all connectivity and MSA are ok,
u should be able to see your MSA via ACU.
there u will find some menu to grant access for your blade based on your blade's HBA wwpn.
u will map your LUN to HBA wwpn respectively.
the u will go to your blade
assuming you're using windows, then u will use disk-management to scan the LUN, init the LUN, and format, assign drive letter and so on

Re: How connect ProLiant BL460c to MSA2000fc?
a few things to check:
1) is the correct HBA driver loaded on the Blade ?
2) are the HBA's logging into each Fabric ?
3) if each Fabric sees the HBA's, then make sure the HBA's are in a zone with the correct MSA2000 ports and the zone is included in the enabled config on each fabric
4) if all the above are true, then you should see the Servers HBA's in the Hosts table on the MSA2000
5) Then assign the Blades HBA host access to the Vdisk.
6) then you should see the lun in disk administrator
note: make sure you load the Mpio driver on the blade so you don't see the same disk more than once
regards,
martin

Do you even have fiber HBAs (mezzanine card) on the BL460? I got suspicious when in great detail you listsed all the IP addresses on the MSA2000fc, the brocades and the BL460c but you did not mentioned the BL460c server HBAs. The ACU is for SCSI/SAS RAID controllers not for fiber.

Re: How connect ProLiant BL460c to MSA2000fc?
Please check whether u have put the HBA Mezzanine card on the correct slot on the BL460C blade Server.
If so then you will definitely able to see the wwn of the this HBA on the MSA SMA web access tool.

Re: How connect ProLiant BL460c to MSA2000fc?
thanks for a help.
I have solved a problem, it was the HBA of the server. I have moved the HBA to another slot and it worked.
Thanks.
