I/O activity suspend with PowerPath
EMC PowerPath 4.3.0 is installed on rp7410 connected via MDS to Symmetrix. To test the software I simulated activity to a lun with dd command and ensured that I/O requests go via both paths to the lun. Then I disabled one of two ports on the FC switch. The activity got suspended on both paths for about 3 min. and then resumed. I thought that as both paths are active and used for handling I/O there should be no pause at all. Am I wrong? Policy is set to SO.
Thanks in advance.
