MSA 2312 G2 FC
All,
I have a DL380 G6 connected to a HP 8/16 switch.
There is also a HP MSA2312 FC connected to that switch as well.
The server has two HBA's and the MSA has two controllers.
All four them show up in the switch and are in the same zone.
I cannot see the MSA controllers in the ACU of the 380 the dl380 is running Windows 2008 R2 with 8.5 PSP
Does anyone have any Ideas?

This MSA has two management (LAN) port at the rear side of MSA for both controller. You can manage the MSA using telnet and web based wsing the ip address of both the conrollers.
Default IP address 10.0.0.1

Re: MSA 2312 G2 FC
The MSA2000 is not based on SmartArray technology - that's why you can't see it in ACU/ADU.
As already said, you have to use an 'out-band' method like command line via serial port/LAN or a web-browser.

Re: MSA 2312 G2 FC
Hello,
you have to configure the MSA2000 by using the SMU (Storage Management Utility). You can connect the SMU by using the management ip-address of each controller.
Regards,
Patrick
