MSA1000 Active/ Active Hanging when Copying big files

HI
I have MSA1000 and other two HDD enclusures atatched to it.
MSA firmware v 7.00
and servers are fully FW and PSP updated
and arround 12 Logical drive presented two a exchaneg cluster (2 Nodes)
Problem:
Exchange server hanging becouse MSA1000 is haning in presenting one logical drive
tested this happeneds when copying big files to this array

it will hang for 30 seconds and then will work again
PLEASE HELP

was also the MSA30 disk enclosure´s controller upgraded to the latest firmware version?
What are the physical disks sizes pls?

HDD size all is 146G
and all the enclusures FW is updated

Hi,
maybe you could troubleshoot the MSA issue via the CLI at the serial port from both controllers in Active/Active:

Perf counters:

Resume:
you need the serial cable
and then after the terminal emulation connection you need to
CLI start perf
CLI stop perf
CLI show perf

thanks for your help
Notice:
1.all the logical drive ar presented through controller two and controller one not presenting any thing
2. if I remove controller one every thing will work OK with no problems
3. if i insert controller one (even no drives are presented on it) the MSA will hang some times

So the preoblem is not happening while the controller is working; just that the controller one is there will make problems

Based off the description, it sounds like failover is occurring.

1). Either MPIO is causing a path failover

or

2). The MSA controller is moving LUNs to the optimal path.

Can you provide a >show tech_support from the cli

If this is window OS, what load balancing properties are you using.

1. The MPIO is the latest version
2. there is no load palancing I but all LUN manuale to the second controller.
and even the first controller not doing any thing its making a problem when its there

if I remove it its works fine

With at last bit of information, it sounds like the MSA controller is load balancing the LUNs.
