MSA1000 Adding Encloures Hot

We are going to be adding two additional encloures to our MSA1000, bring the total to 3(max). Can these enclosures (MSA30s) be added without an outage to the MSA? My gut tells me yes, but I was just wondering if anyone has done this before.

I have found a user guide from 2003 - it says:
"New storage enclosures with unconfigured drives are hot-pluggable"
