MSL 4048 FC connection

Hi All,

We have 1 MSL 4048 Library 2 LTO 3 Drive with FC port.

Question: Can we connect the drive FC port as Port A to SAN switch 1 and Port B to SAN switch 2, but there are not redundancy for each other. Is there any impact or any setting I need to be set ? Please advice, Thanks in advanced.

Hello,

AFAIK this configuration is not supported. Maybe it will work, but on the other hand you backup software has to support multipathed tape drives.
