Major I/O interruption during MPIO DSM for EVA 4.02 install
We've recently experienced a major issue during installation of the MPIO DSM for EVA v4.02 on Windows 2008 R2.
The servers are BL460c G7, each with a Qlogic QMH2562 HBA installed in Mezzanine slot 1.
The chassis is connected via Virtual Connect 8GB FC modules (firmware v3.18) to 2 x HP SN6000 fibre channel switches, into which our EVA 8400 is zoned.
If we add Fabric connections to both SN6000 switches for a particular server in Virtual Connect, and then install the MPIO DSM for EVA on the server, we lose I/O connectivity completely through both SN6000 switches. Obviously this affects a large number of services within the company at the time.
This occurs before any LUN presentations are made from the EVA to the server, and only occurs at the reboot time following the installation. Subsequent reboots of the server do not produce the same issue.
The installation guidelines state only single path to the storage should be made at the time MPIO is installed, however since storage LUNS are not yet presented, this has never been an issue I have seen in the past. This is the first time we've used MPIO 4.02 on Windows 2008 R2 (all other servers are Windows 2003 running MPIO 3).
At the moment the only workaround seems to be to install the MPIO before any VC fabric config is made for a server, however this issue is really strange and should be investigated by HP, if this is an unknown issue.
If the issue is known, if someone could point me to the relevant knowledge base that would be much appreciated, or let me know if you've experienced the same!

@pengfei - Can you post your issues/answer in English as it is a common language in Forums :)
