Hi All,
Yesterday I changed a failed disk.
I have two questions.
1. There are 600GB disk x 12 in the disk group. The actual capacity should be 558GB x 12=6696GB. But in CV the total capacity of the disk group is 9563GB.
2. The Single protaction level is not available. But before the disk failed it is available. I think it will be available after I change a new disk. It seems that it does not add the new disk's capacity into the available capacity.
There is only one disk group. There are three vraid6 vdisks. The total capacity of these vdisks is 3300GB.
Thanks.

Re: P6300 Total capacity is more than physical capacity and no update after changed a failed disk
How about the disk group view?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Hi Torsten,
Thank you.
All disks are grouped.
The attachment is the disk group view.

SolutionThe tital is even gretare than 12*600.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for reply!
I didn't restart. Should I restart both controllers at the same time or one by one?

Re: P6300 Total capacity is more than physical capacity and no update after changed a failed disk
Hi!
I restarted controllers, but... the result is the same, unfortunately...
May be I was wrong with my calculations. Tell me please what is the formula for actually allocated space? I have vraid6 and vraid5 vdisks.
