VDISK Migration from one Disk group to another
We decomissioning some smaller disk groups. I am looking to understand how I can migrate a VDISK from one DG to another, preferably online.
Specifically a HP-UX Boot Disk or if cannot be done online what is the best way without confusing the OS.
I know you could potentially make a mirrorclone of the disk, however I have done some tests and so far cannot get the OS to recognize the new mirrorclone disk with the same LID.
I am hoping for a better less risky way to migrate a os Disk.
I also do not want to go down the ignite path if possibly, I would rather do this at the EVA level.
thanks
