SolutionAccording to "HP P6000 Enterprise Virtual Array Compatibility Reference" you can run command view on a virtual machine, but make sure you can still use it if some resources are down (desaster), e.g. network or EVA.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: can commad view be virtualized
Hi, according to
- "HP P6000 Enterprise Virtual Array Compatibility Reference (Feb-2012)
- "HP P6000 Command View Installation Guide (Oct-2011)
the support is limited to VMware guests with Virtualized SCSI Mode or VMDirectPath.
I didn't found any official support to Hyper-V guests nor any reference to management of P6000 from a VM via SMI-S EVA Provider.
Any idea ?
