HI

please can anyone  tell me what  raid levels raid 1(2D+2P),raid 1(4D+4D),raid 5(3D+1D),raid 5(7D+1P),raid 5(28d+4P),..

please explain me.

These are RAID1 and RAID5 consisting of several numbers of disks (2d+2d = mirrors, 7+1 = raid 5, consists of 7 data and 1 parity disk and so on ...) - these terms are used related to XP and P9000 disk arrays.

As the XP / P9500 are based on Hitachi gear you might find more details if you search for HDS/Hitachi.
