Re: san switch 4/8
would you please provide us the output of the "licenseShow" command. You can run this command from the command-line.
What version of Jave Runtime do you use?
Best regards,
Patrick

Re: san switch 4/8
Hi,
If there is Zoning license installed and if GUI still does not bring up Zone Tab, possible issue could be with Java Version.
Try deleting Java from the PC, browse back into the switch and let it prompt for a Java install, to check if the Zone tab returns.
Regards,
Prabhu

Re: san switch 4/8
It should tell you right on the first page of the web gui.
Or telnet to the switch and run...
version
switchshow
and post the output here.

SolutionWith recent versions of the Brocade firmware, there is no "zoning Tab". "Zone Admin" is an option on the treeview panels on the left; close to "Switch Admin" and "Port Admin".
You don't need to delete Java, what you need to do is: get in to the Control Panel, go to the Java Control Panel. Look for Temporary Internet Files, and Delete (all) Files. On mine, the Delete Files button is "inside" the Settings controls.
Finally, don't forget to APPLY YOUR POINTS! You have assigned points to only 4 of 20 responses.
WHY SHOULD YOU DO THIS?
There are 3 reasons why rating replies is such an important feature:
1.) Others have taken time to help you, so please give them credit for their help.
2.) Your rating will help your peers earn points toward their Forums status, and you will validate the quality of the solution you've received.
3.) Other readers will understand which answer best solved a problem, enriching the community knowledge being shared.
Points should be applied to EVERY MESSAGE in the thread of ANY AND ALL of your questions that have "Unassigned" next to the date and time. Go to your profile, and click on the "Questions or topics with unassigned points" link. The button to apply points is on the bottom of each thread's page.
