IT spending to increase

I was reading this “CIOs Predict IT Spending to Increase” article on www.cio.com that states “Mobile applications and tablets are the areas identified most frequently for investment, according to CIO Research's poll of IT executives. However, analytics, cloud and enterprise security spending aren't far behind.”20130131_OFFICE_COLLEAGUES-310Smaller1.jpg

In my experience only a small number of companies are currently using tablets in their enterprise environments and only a few more want to. If you have a corporate provided tablet today at your work, consider yourself lucky.  I’m hoping this means the rest of us will soon see more tablet options from our companies for use at our companies.  The ability to use a tablet for meetings for either taking notes or accessing corporate date would be great.

You do, of course, then need to worry about backing up any content you create on the tablet and even getting access to that tablet data when you need it on your PC.  But don’t worry, smart backup application products now protect your tablet data as well as your PC data and make that backup available between the 2 devices when you need it.

Here are some links to our solutions that already do this.
