Public Sector Perspectives: Leveraging Agile Methodologies for Applications Transformation (VIDEO)

‎03-09-2014 09:13 AM - edited ‎09-30-2015 07:02 AM

Featuring:  Stu Hammer, Director of Application Transformation – U.S. Public Sector, Hewlett Packard Company

HP’s Stu Hammer speaks to the importance of Agile methodologies used within an applications transformation program.  It’s no longer practical to create a monolithic approach to modernization.  In other words, we can’t create huge programs that last for years when trying to quickly achieve outcomes that the organization needs.

The impact of the New Style of IT affects how we approach transformation.  We must conduct modernization efforts at a faster pace by using Agile techniques – and it must be done quickly, with high quality and at a low cost, to relieve the constrained budgets of today.
