Elitebook 820 touchpad/trackpad problems

I'm using an Elitebook 820, I've been using the laptop almost 4 months now, and suddenly my touchpad acting strange (I never change or upgrade any system), sometimes it didn't move properly, froze, single click become double click and then when I moved it to the side it magnifies the screen, in few forums said even they upgrade the firmware, the problems still occures..would appreciate if HP would be able to resolve this matter
