Fingerprint Biometrics on a HP ProBook 455 G1 Notebook PC with Win 7 64 bit
After a defective download update on an HP software package I was forced to erase all hp products to boot up. After restoring and reinstalling all I could find I get the fingerprint at computer start up and it verifies fine but when i go to system boot which I had disabled it shows a failure of the biometric funcionality. So now I have to wait a minute each time i log on for the option to cancel the biometrics function. As I stated it work fine on computer start up and recognizes my fingerprint but it does not work on OS Boot. I dont know which program controls this but its obviously an HP one. Help

This is the wrong company for printers and PC products. You need to register in the HP Inc. Support Forum:

Re: Fingerprint Biometrics on a HP ProBook 455 G1 Notebook PC with Win 7 64 bit
I was on the support site and when I searched about my HP Zbook fingerprint scanner, the direction was to go to the HPE site because it is a business class machine. HP's right hand is not talking to the left hand. I think I made a mistake by joining this site.

Where did it say this? You don't have a server, so HPE is the wrong place.

Yes, PCs were moved to the other forum in May 2015.
