Scanjet 7000 Tools not showing software profiles

I have a scanjet 7000 with version 2.7 of the document software and version 1.0.2 of the ISIS/TWAIN drivers and untilities.  The scanner tools doesn't show the software profiles from the document software saying that it isn't installed.  How do I make those profiles viasable and loadable on to the scanner? I have tried removing and reinstalling both packages but it still doesn't work.
