Thunderbolt-2 GSPEED STUDIO XL drives to HP ZBook workstation

Hi there

I am trying to connect a Thunderbolt-2 GSPEED STUDIO XL drive to HP ZBook workstation  via an apple adapter  - which connect TB2 to TB2.

The Drives connect - but each time they are disconnected from the laptop -ie,  if the laptop goes into sleep mode, I have to reinstall the GSPEED drivers

Any body got any idea what I can do
