Using wireless head phones on my desk top

I have an  older p6654y  desktop running Windows 10.  I have Wi-Fi on it, and the system works well.   Question:  Can I use a set of new wireless headphones on this system.  I have always used speakers, but as my hearing has gotten worse, I would really like to use headphones.  Thank you               Clay  H
