can't connect to link to download drivers

anyone else having trouble downloading drivers here? My browsers (Mozilla and IE) keep timing out when I try to download drivers for my HP L1940T LCD Monitor. I sent an email to HP and have had absolutely no response!

Yes,everyone is having problems.Very sporadic performance on driver dl's.
Also most of the links to order Recovery sets on models lead to "Page can not be displayed".

The error message is:

I can't seem to connect to any of the drivers; however, I had no problem downloading from two other locations (work and a friend's computer).

I use ZoneAlarm and Spyware Blaster, but I have no problem with any other site on the web, so I can't see why I'd have a problem with HP's site - I don't get it...

The problem for me was the Firewall of our gateway.

it is an old problem and still not fixed!
I tried from 3 different PCs no results

Hopefully the tech team will check it not just saying 'thank you for report'

By the way I tried FTP client software. It didn't work....
and I did disable my firewall and still can't get nothing I see

I am able to connect to FTP but I don't get any further response

i had the same problem, i worked out a way around it, not sure why it works but heres what i did:
1. clicked driver download and got page that said "This webpage is not found."
2. i clicked the little bar under it saying "mmore information on this error"
3. i copied the link supplied from this box
4.pasted into address bar
5. and behold the driver downloaded.

i have no idea why this works, but i hope it works for you

This is driving me crazy as well (excuse the pun). I canâ t get it to download either (I tried the trick mentioned above and you must have the magic touch because that did not work for me). If anyone has a solution would you PLEASE! Post it, I canâ t find my disk and my printer is currently useless. Any help would be appreciated.
