none watermark

We have a bunch of HP laserjets, mostly 3015's and all of a sudden they are printing the none watermark.  The only likely change on the computers are windows updates.

Now, we are having to tell every employee to change the watermark in the "effects" tab from the [none] to the other [none] (which prints no watermark).

This is a user setting, so unfortunately it has to be done every time a new user logs onto a computer.

The driver used is an HP Universal PCL 6.

Any recommendations on an elligant solution to this annoyance?
