Can't see recent post in Forum

I just registered for this forum (used to have an active account from an old company I worked for).  I made my first post today asking about an EOL notice that HP released in the Storage/Storevirtual forum.  I browsed back to the forum a few times and was able to see the post, but now when I go to the forum, I can't see it anymore.  It also doesn't show up in searches.

I've looked at the forum on another machine and it's not there either.

I was able to get back to it using the cache on my browser:

https://community.hpe.com/t5/HPE-StoreVirtual-Storage/Storevirtual-4000-End-of-Life-Notice/m-p/6970664#M10993 but I can't open it on another machine or see it in the forum.  If I try to open the link on another machine, I get "The message you are trying to access is not available".

Any ideas what is going on?

Re: Can't see recent post in Forum

Hi,

If you click the link to your post https://community.hpe.com/t5/HPE-StoreVirtual-Storage/Storevirtual-4000-End-of-Life-Notice/m-p/6970664, it takes you to your post. It is in the board https://community.hpe.com/t5/HPE-StoreVirtual-Storage/bd-p/itrc-1195.

If you originally posted it to a different board, the moderators may have moved it to one more in line with the content.

The easiest way to find one of your posts is to go to your profile page (by clicking your screen name on the light gray navigation bar) and clicking through to the posts Your posts will be listed in descending chronological order.

Re: Can't see recent post in Forum

Warren,

Thanks for your response.  But something must be wrong with the post.  It does NOT appear in my posts in my profile (only this one in the Feedback forum appears).

Further, if I go to the forum it is posted in (which is where I originally posted), it isn't there and doesn't show up in any searches if I put exact text.  If you go to the board you linked:

https://community.hpe.com/t5/HPE-StoreVirtual-Storage/bd-p/itrc-1195.

And look, the post isn't there.  I posted yesterday and there's only one post from yesterday from someone else, the next one after that is from Tuesday.

Appreciate your help!

Re: Can't see recent post in Forum

Hi,

storevirtual_post.PNGI went to your profile page, and I can see your post.

storev2.PNGI navigated to the board https://community.hpe.com/t5/HPE-StoreVirtual-Storage/bd-p/itrc-1195, and your post is the third entry.

I am wondering, what are you seeing?

Thanks,

Re: Can't see recent post in Forum

Warren,

I don't know if somehow you clicking somewhere did something, but now it's showing up in both my profile and on the board. I previously checked from two computers (one signed in as me and one viewing as public) and couldn't see it or find it in a search.   Previously in my profile it showed the Feedback forum posts (my two previous) and nothing else.  Clicking on "View All" just repeated those from this forum.

I had previously needed to go into my bookmarks to see the post (it was the only way to get to it), so I'm confused...but thankful.  I can't explain any of it, but all is well with the world again.  The post shows in the forum, comes up when searching, and is readily available in my profile.

In case it is helpful, I tried using Chrome, Edge, and Opera when accessing the site to look for it.

Really appreciate your help and time!

So can I, now.  I can't prove anything, but I tried that a day or two
ago, and all I saw then was the original post in this thread.  So, it's
possible that the OP is not actually crazy.  (Or, no crazier than I,
anyway.)

Re: Can't see recent post in Forum

I couldn't agree more. If there is something strange going on, I need to know about it, so I can get to the bottom of it.  Or at least try to get to the bottom of it. There is of course the old, "Did you clear cache and refresh?" angle; I've sometimes seen something weird and clearing cache magically fixed it. But we're all conditioned to clear history before we "raise the flag" ... it's just part of the routine of using the Web.

So the bottom line is to keep reporting stuff that doesn't seem quite right.

Thanks,

Could it have been put in quarantine?
