Search engine finds nothing

Search engine finds nothing

The great ITRC forums have been converted to a useless web site. The HP provided search engines have never been very good but you could usually find the answer to any problem by using Google and selecting a post from the ITRC forums.

Now the Google listed links just get you to the introduction to the new site page.  Entering any of the search criteria (that were used in Google which listed the ITRC posts) yields a "nothing found" message.

It's hard to believe that HP took such a huge step backwards.

On a positive note: the spell check is nice.

Re: Search engine finds nothing

Hi Bill,

Have you tried the Search tools built into the platform? If you start at the top of the window, there is a "Search for ..." field, and once you have a value in there, you can either choose from the suggestions or simply click the "Search" button, and it will take you to a more advanced search. I hope this is helpful.

Thanks,

Bill - there have been several posts/discussions about the Google issue - I imagine you've already seen some of those?

If you're asking about the search feature here within the community, have you seen this post?  http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/Tips-and-Tricks/Searching-in-the-HP-Enterprise-Business-Community/td-p/4825025

Just add this new site to the end of your search: http://h30499.www3.hp.com
