URL mutilation
Today's annoyance is that a plain-text URL in a message body gets
"adjusted" as if it were a real link. For example:
/t5/x/x/td-p/6878990
began life as:
https_://community.hpe.com/t5/x/x/td-p/6878990
but without the extra "_". I don't recall having this problem before
today (but that may mean little). Using the "Insert/edit link" tool
reults in the same abbreviated display, but the HTML link is ok:
/t5/x/x/td-p/6878990
I really could use less help from this forum editor.

Re: https URL mutilation
I just always paste in the full URL on a separate line and not that's broken!
There are a few times I've used the link menu to embed URLs outside the forum into simple words.
I don't usually try to change the URL, (except to remove junk "# random" stuff), like you did here:
http://community.hpe.com/t5/Languages-and-Scripting/Pascal-and-getaddrinfo/m-p/6895098#U6895414
Darn, I see what you mean, this began as this:
/t5/Languages-and-Scripting/Pascal-and-getaddrinfo/m-p/6895098#U6895414

Yeah. I don't mind that it plays with the text when it's inserting a
link, but when it plays with the plain text and isn't inserting a link,
then I get annoyed. Looking at old posts, where I've done this sort of
thing with no trouble, I'm pretty well convinced that this is new (bad)
behavior.

You should be more positive you've been hosed. :-)
This post shows it worked yesterday:
Ah, I guessed right, it has to do with https/http as this recent announcement mentions (I changed it to http: so it would post):
