busted google links to old itrc

If you are fed up with google results showing old busted itrc links, simply place the following text after your search string on the google page:

"-itrc"

...without the quotes.  This will remove those links.

Then enjoy the much reduced amount of "help" you get with those google searches for topics that were well discussed on ITRC but are now no longer available via google searches!  At least doing the above will prevent you from seeing the ITRC redirect page any longer.

I'm starting to realize just how valuable a repository ITRC used to be for all manner of technical knowledge search terms.  No longer.

Well it looks like you have a solution that's shorter than typing site://h30499.www3.hp.com but the site: will make sure google doesn't search outside the forum.  And return spam.  :-)

Since all of the old threads are in the new EBC forum on google, you shouldn't be missing anything in your search.

Re: busted google links to old ITRC forum

well probably the better way would be "-inurl:itrc", because this does not omit old threads containing links to itrc ...
