2. 10.2 will have emergency patches until 12/31/2006
3. 10.2 will have security patches until 12/31/1010

Re: 10.2 security issues

I would suspect that now that 10.2 is a dead horse, only if you pay them a bunch-o-bucks will they do anything.

It is time to upgrade or live with anything that comes up for 10.2

Re: 10.2 security issues

I am afraid option 1 is the response.
If you feel you need to, then by all means discuss this with your HP Sales person, or local HP Response Centre manager.

Re: 10.2 security issues

Mike,
There will not be any stories relating to 10.2 in future. So 1 is the answer. Upgrade is the only solution.

Re: 10.2 security issues

1.

The biggest problem with 10.20 isn't that its unstable. Quite the contrary, its quite stable.

Then new security tools won't work with it.

There will be no more patches, at least patches you can afford.

Its time to plan the upgrade.

The biggest security problem with this release is that its not going to be kept current with tomorrows security problems.
