11.23 Hangs in L1500-8

I am reinstalling HPUX 11.23 from DVD but failing at the below point, have tried several times, any clue what to look for

* Extending logical volume "vg00/lvol12" (/logi/tina).

* Extending logical volume "vg00/lvol13" (/logi/configweb).

* Extending logical volume "vg00/lvol14" (/logi).

* Extending logical volume "vg00/lvol15" (/var/adm/crash).

* Making HFS filesystem for "/stand", (/dev/vg00/rlvol1).

* Making VxFS filesystem for "/", (/dev/vg00/rlvol3).

* Making VxFS filesystem for "/opt", (/dev/vg00/rlvol4).

* Making VxFS filesystem for "/tmp", (/dev/vg00/rlvol5).

* Making VxFS filesystem for "/u", (/dev/vg00/rlvol6).

* Making VxFS filesystem for "/usr", (/dev/vg00/rlvol7).

* Making VxFS filesystem for "/var", (/dev/vg00/rlvol8).

* Making VxFS filesystem for "/logi/Acroread5", (/dev/vg00/rlvol9).

Nothing much to go with here. In this level of installation I don't think the OS is doing much error checking. Try installing to a different disk if available or use a different dvd and/or dvd drive
