11i v3 Update 2 - New OEs

Hi, I read on HP.com that 11i v3 Update 2 is going to change the OEs - instead of Foundation, Enterprise, Mission-Critical etc., they are now called Base, Virtual Server, High Availability, and Data Center.

Question is, does anyone know of a difinitive location on HP.com I can go to get Update information? Type of info I'm looking for is GA date for each Update (including proposed future dates if possible) and release notes or high level differences info for between updates?

You are referring to the change to Base OE (B-OE), High Availability OE (HA-OE), Virtual Server OE (VSE-OE) and Data Centre OE(DC-OE)

Thanks for those links. Those are in fact the places on HP.com which I found out about the new OEs in the first place which prompted me to ask the question, which was, "Where on HP.com" can I find details of each Update, including the date it was released and the new features it brings". This information is readily available on other vendors' sites for their OS releases.

These changes/release were as of 10th March.

Essentially HP has change dthese OE's to better reflect the curent environment.
The Base OE contains everything the FOE had, plus APA, PRM, Caliper, WDB, 3D Graphics RTE, MPI, Math Library, and C++ linking for Oracle EBS.
The HA-OE and VSE-OE both have the Base OE, and then fo rthe HA-OE it includes Mirrordisk, Serviceguard, ECMT, NFS Toolkit, Online JFS, GlancePlus PAK, HA Monitors. The VSE-OE includes Mirrordisk, Online JFS, GlancePlus PAK, HA Monitors and the VSE Suite which includes gWLM or WLM, HPVM or Vpars, VMM and CapAd

And the features are in those Venn diagrams and the words inside. And the data sheet gives the details: 4AA1-8225ENW.pdf

So what details are missing from these links?

i.e. when each update was released, and what functionality was added.

The "Update 1 Now Shipping" title near the top of that page is misleading also IMHO.
