2008R2 / Virtual Connect FC / PowerPath

We have been using c class for quite a while with Win2003 and ESX SAN attached servers through Virtual Connect Fibre Channel modules. We are now working out the kinks with 2008R2 and presenting storage. We use Emulex 1105's attaching to EMC Clarion storage using Emulex HBA Anywhere and EMC Powerpath. We are using VC v 2.31.
Without Powerpath installed Windows can see the LUN's but it see's 4 copies of each LUN. With Powerpath v 5.3 it sees no LUN's. HBA anywhere won't even install.

Anybody else working through these kinks?

Hey Ron,

Did u manage to solve this issue, because I am facing a similar issue with RedHat and PowerPath, where powerpath does not see the LUN but native RedHat without PowerPath can see the LUN. I have update all firmware including flashing the EMULEX Firmware.

If you're using 2008R2, is there any reason you can't use the native MPIO in the OS?  We've been using that with our BL46x blades with our EVA and it works well.
