Any idea's? Also, if I install the 5si MX PS driver as a LOCAL printer, it works fine. The problem is only over the LAN with a 5si MX PostScript driver installed. HELP!!

SolutionHow have you been?
As to your problem, you've managed to find the hp-ux forum. I think you might have better luck in the printers forum
http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/FamilyHome/1,,218,00.html
or in the MicroSoft forum:
http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/FamilyHome/1,,116,00.html
In any case, good luck and don't be such a stranger from now on - we missed you.

Re: 5si mx ps printing issue in XP
If you haven't already done so, try the latest Netware Client for WINXP (v4.83 w/SP1 dated 8/6/2002).
Also, make sure you have the latest PS driver (v02.12.01, lj632en.exe) for WINXP from http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNum=C3167A&prodName=hp+LaserJet+5si+mx+printer&locale=en_US&taskId=135&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=25478#Microsoft%20Windows%20XP
Hope this helps.

Re: 5si mx ps printing issue in XP
Thanks for the replies - I DO have the newest Novell client installed and the newest HP drivers also. It is a very strange situation. Novell connectivity is fine in every other way, I just cant get to the printer properties in that specific way. I thought it could be a XP SP1 issue, but I tried it without the SP and it still had the problem.
