Re: 64 bit firefor browser for linux client
Doesn't your distribution provide it? I would expect any sane distribution does.

Re: 64 bit firefor browser for linux client
Do a what command on the firefox binary.
If you have a 64 bit Linux distribution, you will find the binaries are ELF-64, which means firefox is already running 64 bit mode.

Re: 64 bit firefor browser for linux client
If the proper 32-bit compatibility libraries are installed, a 64-bit Linux distribution can run a 32-bit Firefox just fine. (This message has been sent using such a setup.)

Well Mozilla has got early betas of Firefox called as Minefield for the x86_64/amd64 platform. The binaries are to be got from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/
As Matti says, the distribution vendor's release would be preferable. On Debian GNU systems 'apt-get install iceweasel'.
