9iAS v 1.0.2.2.2 installation on HP-UX 11 64 bits

hello experts,

I have the following running on my L1000, hp-ux 11 64 bits and 2 GB of RAM:

Oracle 8.1.7.0
9iAS v1.0.2.2.0

Owing to several problems during the last installation and one very important component of 9iAS not working properly, we have decided to install the newer version of the Application Server software.

we would also like to keep the old installation just in case the installation does not work as planned.

Anybody feedback from people who have already gone through this process will be much appreciated.

My last installation was a real catastrophy!! I spent the who night on it. Started at 17:00 in the afternoon ended at 6:00 a.m the next day! Several crashes due to TMP directory problems.. and the annoying mounting/unmounting of cdrom every hour...

Any patches? any word of caution?
