I have a one server A500 with Oracle 9i

My system is stopping.This can be some configurations of parameters of kernel?

It *can* be related to configuration parameters, i.e. when You're running out of space in the process table, or it might just be a too large SGA for Your A500, for example when maxdsiz and the corresponding settings use up more than what You have in physical memory.

but it might also be related to anything else on the planet :)

What's stopping server or database.
What does "dmesg" shows.
Do you see any errors in the /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log regarding your kernel or other errors.

How do you know it is stopping? Kernel parameters have virtually nothing to do with the kernel's ability to run. When you say 'stopping' do you mean that telnet connections hang? Is the console not responding? Does the system reboot by itself?

Decided problem modifying parameter max_thread_proc was with 256 modified for 1024.
