About HP ILO

From hp site, I came to know that HP ILO drivers & agents are available for RHEL AS 2.1

I want to know whether HP ILO can be installed / configured on IBM xSeries with NOS of RHEL AS 3.

If any link can be supplied for this particular doc (How to configure and how to get Remote console access) I will be really greatful. Thank you.

The HP ILO drivers & agents are exclusively for HP ILO *hardware* in most modern Compaq/HP servers. ILO is not supported on non-HP/Compaq hardware.

For IBM xSeries hardware, you'll need IBM's remote console utilities. If I remember correctly, it is/was called either Integrated System Management (ISM) or Advanced System Management (ASM).

Find the "machine type-model" string of your xSeries server and check out the support section of www.ibm.com.
