After Instal of 98SE, Keyboard Manager doesn't work

After I upgraded to Win98 SE, my keyboard manager ceased to work. When I went
into Keyboard manager under control panel, it says that it cannot find the
file. Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Hello Matt,

I'm not sure what model your PC is, but this info might help. There is too
much info to paste in here, but go to this webpage and it will give you
instructions on updating this driver. Please note that this does not apply to
all models - double check your model before proceeding.

Good Luck,

I also have the same problem. The reply to the original message provides a link where supposedly one can download a solution (patch?) to the problem.

Unfortunately, the link refered to in the reply does not exist.

By the way, the problem I have is that the volume control and mute button on my multimedia keyboard suddenly stopped working. I'm just assuming that the keyboard manager could help solve this problem, but when I try to access it through the control panel, it cannot be found.
