Anyone can cancel ?

Since in HP-UX any user can cancel a lp request by default, I want to know how
disable this.
I tried creating a printer with lpadmin option -orc but only works with the
current lp request, subsequents, any user can cancel them. Any idea?

Hi !

You could simply do a quick 'chmod 4550 cancel' in your /usr/bin dir.
this will allow only the lp user and members (by default) og the bin group to
be allowed to execute the cancel command.

Did you try do that using the SAM tool.
I've done this before and it works fine !
There's an option for check telling if anyone can cancel a job in the queue
printer that is being created !
