Battery Capacity

I just buyed a dv6370ea notebook, i plugged in the battery and ac adapter (and installed linux) and I noticed that the battery was 100% charged at 53Wh while the design capacity was 88,8Wh (i was only using 59% of the design capacity as reported by gnome-power-manager).

So I fully discharged, waited for the battery to cool down and then recharged it, but nothing changed.

The battery is brand new, the laptop was buyed just a couple of days ago.

Is this normal? What can i do?

I also tried to run the HP battery test progam but the installer doesn't work as expected on wine.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance
