Blank configuration for Sendmail 8.9.3 for HP-UX 11.00
Hello all,
I have 'inherited' a number of HP-UX 11.00 servers with Sendmail 8.9.3 on them.
(courtesy of the PHNE_24419 package)
The thing is, the Sendmail config has been ruined on each one of them.
I have managed to grab a copy of a 8.8.6 file, but Sendmail complains about the version of the file.
Can anyone help me get my hands on a 'virginal' copy of sendmail.cf for Sendmail 8.9.3?

If you like human readable, most likely the hpux-10-mail.mc file has options.
http://buildmail.hpux.text has a means (correct filename) for generating sendmail.cf from the macro file.

/me *bows* to Pete
I'm afraid I'm mostly a Linux man, so please forgive me for the silly question.
Steve,
I gave up on Sendmail when they switched to m4, so I think I'll stick with the ancient .cf format. (It took me months to really understand the syntax, they they changed it! I got miffed and switched to, ehm, Postfix)

The HP Response Center does not support the m4 approach but it is straightforward to accomplish if you have the O'Reilly reference books on sendmail.

Re: Blank configuration for Sendmail 8.9.3 for HP-UX 11.00
I have a numer of settings that I want to change (DS, sender sormat, local-delivery-addresses, etc..).
From what I can tell, everything is working fine, now.
(It used to refuse to append the correct domain when using a different relay, very strange)
