Bug with Nov 99 Install/Recovery HPUX 11 CD
Hi,
While trying to recover a system running HPUX 11 with the Nov 99 Install/Recovery CD. I encountered the bug for automatic recovery shell (Change root directory). I got a work around from the response center, but they mentioned that a new CD has been released. All N & L classes are still delivered with the Nov 99.
What is the right way to get the latest Install/Recovery CD?
Thanks for the help.

Re: Bug with Nov 99 Install/Recovery HPUX 11 CD
There is a way you can request updates online at the IT Resource Center (if you have a support contract that offers it)
visit http://www.itrc.hp.com
-click Maintenence & Support
-click on "updates (software update manager)" link located under Downloads / Licensing
If there is a red key next to the link you may not have linked your support contract to your user id -or you may not be logged in.
To link a support agreement click on the "my profile" button located on the left navigation bar. From there you'll find a link that says "link a support agreement to your user id"
Hope this helps!

Hi Franck,
another way to get some information and to check the status of your contract is to contact the contracts department at HP.
Phone number 1-800-386-1115.
