CA, Split, vgchgid
We are running HP-UX 11iv2 and CV 9.02.
We have 2 identical rp7420s and 2 EVAs.
We run CA. We have split off and want to mount as standalone on the other system. We believe that the VG id needs to be changed prior to the import. The VG has 10 disks as part of the group. Each of the disks have 3 additional alternative paths. Does the vgchgid command have to be issued for just the primary paths or both the primary and alternates?

Re: CA, Split, vgchgid
Shalom,
In this scenario the vgchid command will work on any disk device split alternate or primary paths. It only need be used on primary IMO.
