Good Day,
Were is the login banner for console/CDE terminal located. I have to insert a login banner for CDE terminal.

Hi Frank,

Check the /etc/issue file. You can type what ever you like.

The issue and banner files have been updated but the contents of the banner or issue files are not displaying on the inital CDE display (login dialog box -far right-side). Is there a switch value that has to be set in order for the (issue or banner) to display on the inital CDE screen.

Try adding in /etc/motd

Dtlogin*logo*bitmapFile resource ......
