CIM svc of WBEM
Is this necessary for an HP-UX blade (bl860c) running 11.31 - we are having issues when we attempt to turn it off

Re: CIM svc of WBEM
I have all the WBEM services turned off on my servers with no issue.
Maybe post the actual issue you are experiencing ?
If you are doing something that is looking for the WBEM services then it would be expected to have an issue with the services disabled.

Re: CIM svc of WBEM
These services are behind almost "everything" - for example the new diagnostics (system fault management).
Not sure if it is advisable to turn it of ...
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
