CMOS Checksum Error Defaults Loaded press F1 for booting
Hi Gurus,
I have a Intel P3 machine. Whenever I boots/reboots I get an error message after POST. The error message is "CMOS Checksum Error Defaults Loaded" then machine stop the booting process there, then if I press F1 it will resume.
I tried changing the CMOS Baterry and stuffs, and even I changed the CMOS Jumper settings; still I did not get any solution.
Because of this I am not able to install Linux on my machine for some testing.
Could someone help me please
Thanks in Adavance
Jees Joy

Re: CMOS Checksum Error Defaults Loaded press F1 for booting
I saw that error before with battery problem, also memory onboard and even one time it was caused by Floppy drive inside of Laptop... I guess other people can share them experience too, its time to try reseating all components remove some of them for troubleshooting. Update BIOS if possibly if you have spare Parts swap them temporarily

try clearing the NVRAM that should fix your issue...
