CXT-Network-PCI Soft Data Fax Modum with Smartcp Update

Today I received the subject update as "optional". My question is do I need this update? I have an HP Media Center PC m7757c computer running windows home premium with sp1 installed. My computer has 2GB of RAM and is connected to my HP Photosmart all-in one Printer model C7280 via my home network. Every thing is working great so I don't want to mess it up if this update is not needed or will cause problems. Thank You for any assistance you might provide.

If you don't use this Data Fax Modem on your Media center - you really don't need to install this update
And if you decide not install this update you can choose option "Don't show this update again" as well
