Can not extract files from cpio
I download oracle 9i to my HP box. When I tried to use cpio -idcmv server_9201_hpunix64_disk4.cpio
to extract files ,but the proccess just hung there.
Any suggestions?

Can I download ORACLE files to a PC first then use ftp to move oracle disks to HP-UX?
I got error prompting that the format is not in gz mode,when I tried to gunzip it.
here is my file system:
dev/vg00/lvol3 143360 30812 105538 23% /
/dev/vg00/lvol1 83733 36104 39255 48% /stand
/dev/vg00/lvol8 917504 418121 468197 47% /var
/dev/vg00/lvol7 688128 509867 167140 75% /usr
/dev/vg00/lvol4 65536 1379 60209 2% /tmp
/dev/vg01/lvl9 1024000 1609 958691 0% /software
/dev/vg00/lvol6 921600 462159 430758 52% /opt
/dev/vg00/lvol5 3379200 560857 2642310 18% /home
