Can't find Scan Coach registry entry on NT 4

I just installed a HP ScanJet 6200c onto a Dell Windows NT4 workstation without
any problems (I do have admin priviledges).

When I placed the computer with a regular user and they started a scan and
clicked the Scan Coach button, it returned an error saying it can't find the
Scan Coach registry entry.

I logged them off and logged myself on, did a scan, clicked the same button,
and did not have a problem.

I've read other messages that there is some problems with remote scanning and
not having admin access; could this be another similiar issue?

Thanks,

Dennis

Sounds like an administrative permissions problem. I believe this is going to
be the solution to your problem.

ISSUE: The remote scanning feature in the HP PrecisionScan software (LanScan)
fails on Windows NT 4.0. The reason for this could be lack of administrative
privileges in the Windows NT environment.

SOLUTION: Download the file SJ274EN.EXE from the HP website at
http://www.hp.com/cposupport/scanners/software/sj274en.exe.cons.html. This file
will update your software, and allow you to run the remote scanning without
administrative privileges.

NOTE: You need administrative privileges to install this file.

I believe the URL given in my last repsonse was old. Go to this webpage:

http://www.hp.com/cposupport/swindexes/hpscanjet67119_swen.html

Scroll down the page to the NT section. There are several updates for LANSCAN,
Scancoach, and OCR.
