Centos installation fails on ProLiant ML110 Gen10
Hi,
I am not able to start an installation of Centos8.3. Neither possible in UEFI or legacy mode.
All the time it stopps at "..waiting for mulripath siblings of sd.."
At the beginning there is a Firmware Bug message regarding RmRR, but I do not find any solution for that.
I hope somebody can help.
best regards
Uwe

Re: Centos installation fails on ProLiant ML110 Gen10
Hello There,
Happy New Year and Thank You for Contacting HPE support
1>> With regards to Centos there is very Limited scope of support from HPE (Please refer Below Link), However you can try the below shared steps.
https://techlibrary.hpe.com/us/en/enterprise/servers/supportmatrix/cent_os.aspx
2>> Please power drain the server by removing the power cables, once done power up the server and From RBSU select Restore Default Manufacturing Settings
Please refer Page 143
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00016407en_us
3>> Please make sure the Firmware's are updated to latest, you can try to flash it using below SPP link.
https://techlibrary.hpe.com/us/en/enterprise/servers/products/service_pack/spp/index.aspx
4>> With regard to "RMRR" error you can refer the below advisory
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-c04781229
5>> If there is still no change please try to Install Different Flavor of OS (Windows or Vm ware for testing purpose) This will rule out Hardware issue (If other OS gets installed It could be Centos Image issue hence try with different Image if the other OS also fails it can be Hardware issue and you may log a case for Hardware replacement)
Thanks
